Remuneration and Fees

The services provided by Chancellor Hattersley Lloyd are based on an advisory relationship, rather than on a transaction basis. Fees are calculated on a sliding scale, based on funds under management, at market value.

There is no entry or exit fees and we charge clients a defined fee for service.

The standard fee (excluding GST) is based on a sliding scale structure:

1.00%pa to $1 million
0.75%pa from $1million to $3 million
0.65%pa from $3 million to $5 million
0.50%pa above $5 million

Minimum fee of $5,000 per annum.

Payable: quarterly in arrears normally by direct debit to client’s nominated bank account.

Example:

For a portfolio with a market value of $1 million the annual fees will be $10,000 + $1,000 GST = $11,000

For a portfolio with a market value of $2 million the annual fees will be $10,000 + $7,500 + $1,750 GST = $19,250

For a portfolio with a market value of $4 million the annual fees will be $10,000 + $15,000 + $6,500 + $3,150 GST = $34,650

The fee is calculated at the end of each quarter and the client is sent an account, or with prior approval, the amount is debited to the client’s cash management account.

In addition to our advisory fees, Chancellor Hattersley Lloyd will charge a transaction fee of 0.2% + GST on the value of the transaction with a minimum amount of $100 + GST. Part of this fee is rebated to Chancellor Hattersley Lloyd.
